A fantastic blanc de blanc. Ten plus years ago, I tried this wine and didn't like anything about it. Then, a few years ago, I retasted it while living in Australia. There's been a remarkable turnaround. Today, it's a completely different wine, it's now everything a great blanc de blanc should be. Made from 100% Chardonnay from Premier Cru vineyards. It's very pale in color, super bright and fresh, with a persistent bead, It has that roasted almond character that is so appealing. It's excellent to have at the beginning of a meal, also perfect with fatty seafoods, scallops, lobster, tuna, etc. With a good stopper, it'll keep for days in the fridge. Total production 3000 cases.
