2016 Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon - Barossa Valley, Australia - SAVE 23%

2016 Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon - Barossa Valley, Australia - SAVE 23%
This is a compete Cabernet. I visited the Barossa Valley in 2018, just before moving back to the US. I put the place on a short list of the world's top wine regions. While it's world renowned for Shiraz, the top Cabernets can compete with any from anywhere. This one very deep in color, with the color extraction extending fully to the rim of the glass. It's fully ripe, deep, layered, red and black fruits, cedar, complex, well integrated oak. The tannins are evident, but they are seamlessly smooth. It's great from the moment the cork is pulled, but it'll change with time. It's every bit on day two as day one. Serve with red meats off the grill or hearty stews. Total production 2200 cases. Drink now through 2025
