A very rare bottling indeed. This is perfect choice for your cellar or to give as a very special gift. Viader is one of the iconic cult wines of Napa. This is a single organic vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Only six barrels were made. This is the first time this wine has been produced. The wine is nearly opaque, with the color extending to the rim of the glass. It's super concentrated, bold, dense, full, jammed with black fruit, spice and smoke from the oak aging. The fruit comes across as very ripe. The tannins are big, but there is no green edge or aggressive notes. It's super impressive, but opening it at least an hour before serving (ideally decanted) is recommended. It drinks great of day two or even day three. It's a special occasion wine, serve with simply prepared best cuts of meat. Total production 150 cases. Drink now through 2030.
